You’re invited to attend our September 28th FREE speaker and networking session. Jonathan Jutsen, Chairman of the Australian Alliance for Energy Productivity, and Dr. Sven Teske, Research Director at the University of Technology (UTS) Institute for Sustainable Futures, will address the topic “Is Australia Engaged in an Energy Future?”.

Each speaker will answer two specific questions:

  • Are our future energy challenges really a “trilemma” of conflicting objectives – or can we be sustainable and enjoy excellent energy services at an economical price? [JJ]
  • Why is it that the simplest and lowest cost ways to address climate change – i.e. increasing energy productivity – the last ones our politicians (and media) want to address? [JJ]
  • Will Australia finally use its abundant wind resources? [ST]
  • Can Australia dig into ‘Sky Mining’? (Exchanging coal with solar and wind) [ST]
